This catalog of Halloween postcards is for collectors and dealers, or anyone who has an interest in Halloween postcards. It shows what is available and gives you an idea of pricing.

A catalog or checklist is especially necessary for the serious postcard collector to organize the more than 3,000 antique Halloween cards out there. Many cards are difficult to identify from their captions or even from brief descriptions. With a pictorial catalog, the collector can complete a publisher’s line, an illustrator’s works or a more extensive collection.

We have pictured all the cards in the sets that were available at the time.  We know that there are more cards out there and would appreciate knowing about them.  With your help we can add more cards to the catalog if you send us cards or color copies of the card's front and back for future updates.  Cards sent would be returned postage paid.

Second Edition (2003) – in Book Form

Since our Halloween Postcards Catalog CD came out, we have received numerous requests for a printed copy.  Here it is— spiral bound, 8 1/2 x 11, 338 pages in full color with publisher and postcard back indexes and larger images that preserve their proper horizontal/vertical orientation.

This new edition includes over 250 postcards that were not on the original CD.  Many of these are rare cards coming from the collections of other Halloween enthusiasts. The generosity of postcard collectors like these has allowed us to complete gaps in some series and to discover some surprising additions. We hope you enjoy these changes!
